Company are one of the nice, smaller agencies in London but with the clout of a large network. They are a consumer focused digital media agency that handle the planning, buying and evaluation of communication solutions for a wide variety of exciting clients across Web, Search, Affiliates and mobile.
This opportunity would suit an account manager who has hit a ceiling with their clients and wants a role with more responsibility and strategic direction.
They are fast, fun and open company.
The senior account manager role is to lead the online and digital media activity across a selection of high profile clients, including, FujitsuSiemens Computers, CA, Burger King, CSC, PWC, Dubai Tourist Board, Las Vegas Tourist Board and Air Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge, Skills and Attitude:
* Strategic direction across clients and at senior client contact level
* Passionate about online and digital media
* Expert knowledge of the online marketplace, including search,
affiliates, email, mobile and adserving/tracking technologies with a
proven track record of overseeing major clients through the entire
process from campaign briefing, planning, implementation, management
& optimisation and reporting
* Strong planning & buying and admin skills with very good attention to detail
* Ability to motivate and stimulate creative interest from team
* Approachable and excellent team player, ambassador for digital both internally and externally
* Top client facing communicator with excellent offline media and marketing knowledge base
* Leadership qualities, both strategic and personal.
Tasks and responsibilities:
* Direction of account activity from strategy through to campaign implementation
* Overseeing digital channel planning and integration with offline strategic planning
* Overseeing financial administration of accounts and provision of accurate forecasts
* Monetising additional services and generating new revenues from existing clients
* Delivering innovative solutions through team
* Smooth integration with other agency teams
* Oversee accurate and punctual delivery of client work, ensure
consistent high levels of quality achieved for team work output to
clients/internally
* Earn the trust and respect of clients and key contacts, lead and mentor the relevant online team members
* Educate clients as to the role of online and lead recommendations on digital strategy
* Lead relationships with media owners, creative agencies, adservers, research companies etc
* Develop strong relationships with strategists and planners internally
* Work to deadlines and manage client/planners expectations
* Clear understanding of clients products and business objectives
* Quality control & process development of all work of immediate team members
Other details:
* Academic profile graduate with strong University results, numerate and creative.
* Language requirements - English written and oral essential other languages desirable
* Technology skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adservers ( eg Atlas,
Doubleclick, MediaPlex), search optimisation tools, TGI, Nielsen,
ComScore, DDS
* Google qualifications is also desirable but not essential
* Research skills understand how to employ desktop research tools, (web address removed) , ComScore, etc
* Personal qualities - An interesting person who has ability to
challenge the norm, and has a real work hard play hard attitude to
their work.
