You will be responsible for ensuring that their clients have access to all the resources they require, across each of the divisions, along with overseeing the 'profit and loss' attributable to each account.
They are also responsible for the management, development and wellbeing of their team.
Ongoing client management and contact, to ensure satisfaction with the agency's offering.
Actively seek opportunities to introduce each of the services offered by our client at the appropriate opportunity.
Familiarity with the terms and conditions of each client's contract.
Ensuring that each account has sufficient resource available to it.
Initiating, developing and overseeing relationships with other agencies (lead media, creative or production) as appropriate.
Ensuring appropriate approval has been gained from clients at all stages of the media process.
Other responsibilities
Acting as an ambassador for our client in all situations
Ensuring budgets and timescales are met
Offering support and leadership in new business pitches
Working in partnership with other Account Directors, other departments and divisions to ensure adherence to best practice and most effective trading
Fostering an open culture that facilitates teaching and learning
Leading by example in all of the above
Experience
·A wealth of experience gained within a media department or independent
·Experience of managing a team of people
·Experience of handling clients at a senior level
·Proven track record in project management
·Experience of presenting at a senior level
·Experience of leading the media planning process
·Experience of analysing campaign performance based on results
·Experience of preparing and delivering new business pitches
Skills
·Excellent understanding of all aspects of digital marketing
·Proven track record of strategic planning
·Good knowledge of tracking and optimisation technologies
·Ability to prepare and managing budgets/profit & loss accounts
·Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
·Very high degree of numeracy
·Presentable and personable
·Good knowledge of general office software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
·Excellent grasp of Internet software - browsers, operating systems etc.
