Our client, a leading national press group, is looking to recruit a Senior Digital Trader to join their team. You will be responsible for hitting specific KPIs (revenue/STR/yield etc), regular reporting of performance and mentoring less experienced digital traders where appropriate. Candidates must have complete agency knowledge at all levels and previous experience of selling standard and non-standard advertising and sponsorship opportunities. Key Responsibilities include: ·Ensuring digital traders are operating at the high level of competence required ·Maintaining strong relationships with senior editorial staff within your defined title ·Proactively building and maintaining strong relationships with all digital planners/buyers/media managers within agency patch through regular face to face contact ·Deliver above-market advertising revenue growth whilst trading within internal volume/yield/quality parameters Person Specification ·Excel, Outlook, Hitbox/data systems, IMS, PowerPoint and DART/DSM knowledge and experience essential ·Excellent presentation and negotiation skills ·Strong Sales acumen ·A high level of numeracy ·A passion for the digital medium and the company's on and offline brands ·Willingness to go the extra mile ·A variety of influencing skills and understanding of how/when to apply them
