Affiliate Manager
Our client is a top 5 digital media agency based in the heart of London. As a result of increasing new business and several successful pitches they now require an experienced Affiliate Manager.
Key Tasks:
• Manage affiliate programs within the main account teams
• Evaluate affiliate programme options and demonstrate knowledge of the affiliate marketplace
• Compile weekly affiliate reports, optimise campaigns regularly, analyse data and report trends
• Develop a firm understanding of the clients business and metrics for measuring the success of campaigns
• Monitor individual affiliates to ensure they are adhering to brand guidelines and reprimand them if they breach the terms & conditions of the program
• Communicate any promotions/pricing changes via newsletters and emails
• Brief creative agencies with creative requirements
• Meet and build strong relationships with affiliate networks and clients
• Review contracts between the network, client & affiliate (and manage the collection and storage of contracts)
• Demonstrate responsibility and accountability (effective management of affiliate budgets) - reconcile budgets where necessary
• Resolve straightforward campaign delivery issues or problems – raise any complex issues with account teams
• Provide on the job affiliate training and learning opportunities for staff
• Where relevant, meet and liaise regularly with account teams
• Share responsibility with management for developing new revenue streams through affiliate programmes (both current and new clients)
• Undertake additional projects beyond client responsibilities as requested (new business pitches, market reviews, competitive trends, etc)
Key Skills:
• Basic understanding and role of search, email, viral and mobile marketing.
• Attention to detail is vital, must be quick to learn and resourceful
• Learn to influence / negotiate better value with affiliates
• Time management skills (prioritise tasks, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines)
• Possess strong client servicing skills and proactively manage client expectations
• Must have a working knowledge of our clients media booking procedure (insertion orders/DDS/invoicing/payment terms)
• Develop positive relationships with clients and affiliate sites
• Posses excellent communications skills and the ability to sell affiliate programmes to senior marketing clients
• Excellent knowledge of how affiliates fit into the online marketing mix
• Commercially aware and financially astute

• Able to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
