Leading media agency is looking for a Head of Digital to assist with on of their major projects. The head of Digital will manage all the digital elements of a piece of business on one or more clients. The head of Digital is responsible for the efficient running of the digital side of client accounts and for managing and directing group members. The role will require an element of leadership, management, excellent communication skills and complete knowledge of the available media.
Role Objectives:
- Set up best practice systems for planning, buying, monitoring and reporting
- Oversee client budgets and ensure financial practises are tight, including allocations between media
- Lead the strategic development of the clients' businesses, including testing and innovations
- Regular contact with senior clients and creative agencies and develop and maintain best level and type of communication to ensure the smooth running of the account by all team members
- Maintain appropriate senior level contact with media owners and take a strategic view of media deals to ensure deals achieve best value for the client and agency
- Ensure with your team that briefs are challenging to provide smart solutions and new opportunities
- Coordination and contact where needed with the brand planning teams to ensure integration and optimisation of campaign activity
- Scenario planning and forecasting
- Responsible for seeking new ways to increase income from clients through further services such as research
- More in depth Involvement in client profitability decisions, new business and pitching
