My client is a Bristol based digital marketing agency and they are looking for someone to join the Interactive team as a Digital Project Manager, working across a variety of projects and clients using your skills to drive the projects through effectively, smoothly & on time. You will be joining a company that is one of the largest and still fastest growing agencies in Bristol, ever increasing its digital capability, knowledge and reach with a raft of great brands that love working with us.
The successful applicant will be joining a professional, dedicated and creative team of developers, designers, copy writers and art directors, together with the account handling teams, working in an integrated and stimulating environment with an array of well known clients and will be integral in the success of our business moving forward.
Working across web build, online advertising and other digital projects you will be responsible for managing multiple digital projects from briefing through to delivery.
You will need to be personable and strong-willed with a desire to succeed among fellow professionals.
What do we need from you in detail?
Thorough knowledge of Digital Project Management with at least 2 years demonstrable experience in a web development environment in an agency or client side, delivering a range of multiple digital projects
Excellent good working knowledge of web technologies, with a background of building websites
An ability to write functional & technical specifications as well as extensive experience of creating detailed sitemaps and wireframes
You will produce project plans; manage workload and keep production on-track; implement and manage testing; check cross-platform/browser compatibility; process, manage and check on-going website amends; monitor/report on day-to-day technical issues; compile reports and presentations
You will need to have had some client-facing experience
Technical knowledge is very important, in order that they can provide technical advice to both the client and internal staff, and knowledgeably discuss technical issues with the web development team, thereby minimising the pressure to fulfil this role across all clients
Experienced at managing and co-coordinating programmers, designers, account managers
A methodical approach, with excellent attention to detail
Excellent at scheduling with a talent for pushing the project along, keeping everything on track
