Our client is a global brand leader in many technology led consumer markets and they are now seeking a Corporate PR Manager
JOB PURPOSE:
-Manage Corporate PR and online PR projects, in conjunction with international and HO corporate comms teams
-Develop PR plans, write press releases and deliver messages to the media through external agencies
-Manage media enquiries and interview requests
-Organise PR events
-Create value added tools and campaigns for the European PR network, for use
-Corporate PR across all UK and European markets
-On environmental topics
-In crisis management situations
-Management of the online PR office
-PR reporting
You should have
* Degree in PR, Media Studies or Business Studies with good grades
* Relevant experience in agency or in-house PR department (with excellent references)
* High level skills in Powerpoint, Excel and image editing software
* Self starter, able to work without supervision using high degree of initiative
* Highly numerate
* Confident telephone manner
* Exceptional written English with excellent grammar and spelling
* Outgoing personality with meticulous attention to detail
* Be very familiar with online techniques and Web 2.0 media
* Able to work effectively in a large organisation, with a complex and largely consensus driven matrix structure
