Web Analyst
Location North West
Salary - £20k - £30k
My client is one of the UK's leading independent travel organisations boasting over 30 years of tremendous growth, success and award winning services.
Their success is down to their ability to harness the massive move towards online within the travel industry; they now plan to strengthen their e-commerce team by bringing in an experienced and highly capable web analyst.
Job Purpose:
To provide the business with daily communication on the performance of online channels via key metrics. In addition the role involves ongoing analytical reporting on site performance, advertising ROI and a variety of ad hoc requirements.
Main Duties:
·Production and distribution of daily e-commerce updates to the business to highlight key performance metrics
·Provide a means of monitoring key performance metrics within the e-commerce team
·Support the whole e-commerce team with reporting on performance of advertising, customer behaviour and flow, exit point analysis etc
·Utilise Customer Experience Management (CEM) application
·Supporting e-commerce manager in ad hoc online marketing reporting
Qualities Required:
·Commercially aware with internet experience
·Ideally experience of working with web analytics tools
·Technical experience of web tracking tools and tag based reporting
·Excellent written and oral communication skills
·Basic knowledge of online marketing (affiliate programs, organic SEO, PPC. E-Mail and online advertising)
·Good working knowledge of MS Office and SQL
·Excellent organisational skills with the ability to undertake multiple tasks in parallel
·Strong communication skills
·Analytical approach to problems and comfortable dealing with numeric data and keen eye for detail and accuracy
·The ability to propose solutions following the identification of issues and trends
·Self-starter with the motivation to look at ways of improving processes and procedures with a willingness to challenge the status quo
·Strong interest n the growth and development of the internet with an eye for new technologies and emerging trends
·Ambition to grow within the role and to take on more responsibilities to reflect the rapidly changing demands of the online environment
