BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Leading the Retail Corporate Affairs and Public Relations Division of this global leading power brand your role will be to develop a corporate communications strategy through building relations through PR, Corporate and Community relations. Your role will be the communicator to press, PR, Community Support Directors within local government raising the UK brand profile through informative and relevant information generation across the UK Consumer and B2B markets. You will head up a team of 5
THE OPPORTUNITY: To build and external corporate communications strategy across employee, industrial and community relations, while looking after an aggressive PR team.
You will take responsibility for ensuring smooth delivery and success of the full communications across the group, working closely with the board to deliver hybrid projects through the full life cycle.
Basic responsibilities listed:-
·Develop and implement the Strategy for Corporate Communications/Affairs across the UK.
·Oversee the co-ordination of all Communication activities within the Group and external through government and local community and grow the overall market awareness UK wide.
·Manage a large team of up to 6 across the UK.
·Liaise at Board level to develop clear communications strategy.
·Direct budget responsibility
·Support key brand objectives.
·Delivery key business objectives
THE PERSON: As an individual you will have the ability to lead, Highly intellectual and have a good understanding of manipulating position critical situations. You will have the ability to challenge at board level as well as the experience to be able to manage large teams. You will develop and structure compelling communications.
REMUNERATION: Basic salary of up to 60k, plus benefits including car/car allowance, Healthcare, Pension and Favourable holiday and Bonus
