This is the Liverpool office of the UK's largest games developer and publisher, the company has 5 UK studios and 6 branches abroad. Growth over the last 2 years means that 800 staff now achieve a turnover of £150 million from some of the biggest titles in the business.
Currently they are looking for a Community Manager to provide effective management of their online community for games titles. Your role will be to liaise with development studios and online delivery to effectively manage and formulate business strategies geared towards actively managing their key IP's online success and penetration.
You will advise senior production on community trends and activity for all games titles but with an initial focus on major IP. Develop strategy for downloadable content based on community trends. Work with development teams to design downloadable content and to formulate the best way in which to create and deploy this content and to supply community based feedback either directly from the community itself or from online deliver department.
Manage audience-tailored events, develop and manage a community communication policy, research and report into competitor products and grow the community registration base. Issues surrounding budgetary control for community management will also fall under your remit.
