6 month contract as Communications Officer for a high profile public sector client in the Merseyside area. You must be able to work from your own initiative , be a good project mananger and be able to manage and prioritise a busy and varied workload.You must have previous marcomms experience. Your duties will include: - Stakeholder analysis and communication strategy - Participate/hold key events and activities which will take place during the year - Identifying proactive media opportunities including arranging media interviews, filming and broadcast opportunities and site visits - Identifying cost effective publishing solutions and supporting colleagues with the design and print process (includes advising on language, Plain English, design and corporate identity, photography and distribution) - Taking the lead for campaigns. Setting specific campaign objectives, strategy and time scales and executing the campaign as appropriate - Work as part of a team to provide a responsive press service. Ensuring press enquiries are dealt with in a professional, timely manner, endeavouring to change negative issues into positive PR opportunities - Proactively engage with key regional media This is an excellent opportunity to work in a broad communications role my client is looking to get someone on board asap.
