PR Account Executive/Copywriter

Our client is looking to recruit a PR Account Executive/Copywriter to provide PR and copywriting support to the Director.
Role and responsibilities:
Researching and writing press releases, articles, marketing literature, presentations, websites - producing clear, concise copy that is 'on message' for the client but also has journalistic or customer appeal
Dealing with client queries and account management duties
Dealing with media enquiries and fielding calls
Looking at feature and other PR opportunities to maximise exposure for our clients
Scanning the press as required for relevant articles to keep up-to-date with the issues affecting our clients
Updating client websites
Assisting in the development of our own website and on-line presence
Use of digital marketing tools for our clients - Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook etc.
Proof reading
Administration and general office support as required
Skills and experience:
· Knowledge of social media techniques e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook etc.
· Experience of working with print media, website, digital/social media, marketing brochures and conference presentations
· Experience of managing an account portfolio
· Well used research or journalistic skills
· A good understanding of PR or marketing theory
· Proven copywriting skills
· Good verbal and written communication skills
Able to work flexibly to suit the needs of the business
A journalism, marketing or media qualification to degree level
You will have a positive can do attitude with the ability to work to deadlines, you will need to be commercially aware, able to work with agencies and knowledge of Direct Marketing and good analytical skills.
