This individual will maximise the sales and profit opportunity in the online channel and manage an efficient fulfilment and returns capability to deliver great customer service.

This company is a large family owned retailer with a leading brand in its market and niche product range.
About the Role
The e-Commerce Marketing Manager will work with the Website Marketing Manager to lead and manage day to day the transactional e-Commerce website. They will work within a busy retail environment to ensure the constant availability and up to date accuracy of the e commerce offer on the web site and liaise with the operations team and buying deparment to ensure service meets the brand promise. They will report into the Marketing Director.
Specific responsibilities include:-
Developing the strategy and plans for the e-Commerce transactional website.
Project management to ensure effective launch is achieved in Autumn this year
Deliver excellent customer service through the e-Commerce channel
Ensure product features are updated and presented correctly and offers are promoted clearly
Test site functionality regularly and comprehensively and ensure the success of the online customer experience
Maintain up to date knowledge of consumer needs and ensure these are effectively incorporated within the e-Commerce strategy
What We’re Looking For
My client is looking for a results driven e-commerce professional that has strong experience within a busy retail environment. This individual will need to be strong on strategy development and planning but also have very effective implementation skills. They will have excellent knowledge of retail processes and environments to work effectively with the operations team and ensure delivery.
