Job Description
Our client specialise in building websites that save consumers money and driving traffic through search marketing. Their goal is profitable growth through the launch of home-grown brands and strategic acquisitions. They are rapidly growing and have been featured in the Sunday Times top 100 companies to work for...Ideally the successful candidate will come from an agency background.
The successful Marketing and Communications Manager will have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrable track record of driving growth of a service organization across all channels within the marketing mix offline and online
- Strong commercial skills and focus, proven track record of executing ROI-positive campaigns
- Assist in setting business objectives with Directors and plan and execute marketing strategy
- Managing budgets and executional resources both internal and external
- Experience working with the agency promotional channels and calendar is desirable
- Experience with trade-show and conference marketing
- Experience of working with trade bodies (E-consultancy) and informal working groups (meet-ups) etc.
- Network of key influencers within the Digital space (both channel experts and journalists)
The successful Marketing and Communications Manager will have the following qualities;
- Communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken
- Self-starter, analytical, methodical, passionate about online marketing and technology in general, creative, well connected
- Good documentation skills, can produce quality insights and present them using simple language where required for non-technical clients
- Good appreciation of the internet and technologies and business models that drive it
- 5+ years experience in a similar role, ideally within an agency or technology company
