Html Graphic Designer
The company
Simply Online Services Ltd who operate 12 job boards in the UK specialising in the Sales, Marketing, HR, New Media, Law, Aviation, Recruitment, Travel and Automotive industries are looking to recruit a HTML Graphic Designer to join its Online Marketing team.
The Person
The ideal person for the role will be primarily focussed on online activity but be able to be creative in offline design. Daily tasks will include:
Designing web pages, email templates, banners, buttons, skyscrapers etc
Creating design work for clients logos, company profiles, banners etc
Creating print designs for internal and external use
Designing posters, media packs and other marketing material
We are looking for individuals with bags of ideas and enthusiasm who, whilst they will be given direction, are able to work well under pressure and to deadlines without being micro managed as the company believes in letting people get on with the job in hand.
Key Technical skills required:
Photoshop
Illustrator
In Design
Flash
You should demonstrate an understanding of producing graphics for the Web and the restrictions that this applies and also understand the issues in producing HTML rich email for reading on Web based clients.
You should also be able to produce web pages to W3C standards and an ability to hand code sites would be a distinct advantage. Understanding of HTML and CSS are essential. Any exposure to FTP, MySQL, Linux and SSH would be useful but not essential for the job as training would be given.
