Job Description

Original Personality

We are seeking an individual with a design flair, a diversity of thought, fizzing with creative potential and with the personality to enhance our existing team. Being both a savvy thinker, but also a doer and design mind, we want you to bring something unique to the party whilst working harmoniously within a small team in what can be a highly pressured environment. You will be a part of the initial ideas, along with everyone, but your role will be a huge part of defining how they come to life.


Senior Designer

  • Responding to and disseminating briefs
  • Brainstorming and researching with the creative team
  • Being part of the initial concepts, and immersed in how it really comes to life
  • Working as a part of a small but talented team, and capable of working independently on varied projects
  • Establishing the look and feel of varied content
  • Working closely with the project team to ensure accurate and realistic costing/plans for design.
  • Liaising with the Account Management team to define hierarchy of client needs.
  • Ensuring the creative approach delivers the key messages, delivers the end results, delivers our level of wow-factor, and responds to the client brief in a smart way
Essentials

  • Creativity we aspire to originality and uniqueness in our delivery, you will too.
  • Demonstrable track record A portfolio of your work, alongside the ability to wow us with your thoughts and approach
  • Experienced in designing the physical elements or environments for live events and experiential campaigns, alongside the communications that often accompany them
  • Some print design experience essential, as this is often a part of the project output
  • PC literate (no, we don't use Mac, and yes we do think that's a good idea. And no, we're not going to argue. And yes, they are much faster, and kept up to date)
  • Adobe CS4 literate. MS Office Literate. You tell us what else you can use and we may have it, get it.

Nice to haves

  • Film, media, movie experience - we do make a fair few films, and have some basic kit for you to play with ideas here if you're that way inclined.
  • Web/digital design experience. It's not the core of our business, but like anywhere, it's involved at times.
  • A complex understanding of, and mature opinions around the psychology of biscuit choice,  and other such creative fuels.
