Job Description

Web Designer / Graphic Designer/ Front End Developer required for a well known and market leading fashion retail organisation to work behind the design and development of new web features and platform functions. The Web Designer / Graphic Designer/ Front End Developer will be taking projects through the whole cycle from concept and brief through the production and completion. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the design of email collateral which will be used during the ongoing marketing campaigns.

The Web Designer / Graphic Designer / Front End Developer will be responsible for developing Web Assets to include: Direct Marketing, Affiliate Marketing and develop free format HTML pages. The candidate will be creative and user focused, developing HTML and flash based solutions, the candidate will create eye-catching customer focused banners and targeted emails and will have worked within the Fashion industry previously and have a passion for the sector.

The Web Designer / Graphic Designer / Front End Developer will have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the retail sector preferably within fashion and be proficient using Photoshop, Illustrator and knowledge of other widely used design packages. The Web Designer / Graphic Designer / Front End Developer will be using web technologies such as HTML, XHTML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, CSS and Flash. The successful candidate must have strong graphical skills and be aware of trends within the retail and e-commerce sector and will be a strong communicator and work well within a small specialist team as well as a large consumer facing organisation.
