Artworker
Somerset, Wellington
£13,000 - £15,000 (plus pension, subsidised staff restaurant and shop, free parking)

Our client formulate, manufacture and package fine quality cosmetics, toiletries and household goods, and have gained a reputation for imaginative product development as they continue to lead the way in innovation, quality and technical expertise. They are currently looking to add an Artworker to their team.

The Artworker will play a key role in the business' design studio. Reporting to the Creative Manager, you will be working on a wide variety of product and packaging briefs, as well as other internal and company artwork requirements. The Artworker will hence be required to:

- Work closely with the Creative Manager and assist with all artwork requirements
- Work with the New Product Introduction team to understand artwork procedures and customer-specific requirements
- Assist the design studio with required artwork for product mock ups and samples

To fulfil this remit, the Artworker will need to have a strong understanding of, and ability to work with, Illustrator, Photoshop and In-Design packages. You'll also need to be adaptable, flexible and be able to work to tight and demanding deadlines. In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, a great creative eye for detail and possess good page layout skills. The successful candidate will work 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am-4.30pm Friday.
