Web Designer / Web Communications Officer

£23,500 - £27,500 (Up to £29,427 inc London Weighting)

As a specialist centre for Media Arts, our client is an Acton based High School. With a commitment to making learning vibrant, energetic and motivating - they offer their students an education that will equip them for life in the 21st century. They are now looking to recruit a talented Web Designer / Web Communications Officer to join their team.

This is the ideal role for someone with good web design skills and the ability to support people - to work in a rewarding environment and play a key role in making their web environment exciting and user friendly.

As a Web Designer / Web Communications Officer you will be responsible for supporting the School to develop their Virtual Learning Environment and web presence. This will involve developing and uploading learning materials for teachers and supporting staff that have lots of ideas, but lack the technical confidence to capitalise on the school's eLearning capacity.

To succeed in this position you must be able to demonstrate good web design skills, and a good level of technical knowledge needed to support non-technical colleagues. As the Web Designer / Web Communications Officer you should also be interested in working in a rewarding educational environment where you will get the chance to use your specialist skills, working with both adults and young people.
