Web Developer
Online media travel/publishing company with over 12 million subscribers are expanding rapidly in Europe and require a web developer to work closely with publishers and producers to develop functions and features tailored for specific local markets.
The responsibilities of the web developer will be supporting the marketing teams to develop online marketing promotions that may include flash, JavaScript and other technologies and maintain XML localisation. You will be responsible for assisting with the launches of technical infrastructure and possible mobile services.
The successful applicant will require having extensive experience working with HTML, CSS, XML, DHML, J2ME, WML, Flash Java Script and AJAX. You will have experience with version/configuration tracking and development tools such as visual SourceSafe for configuration and visual studio for code. He/she will have experience working with internet advertising practices such as SEO, Click/impression tracking, web behaviours logging/optimisation. You will be proficient in Visual basic, C#, (web address removed) , MS-SQL.
The web developer will have a bachelor of science in informatics or equivalent. He/she will be able to work in a fast paced environment, be self motivated and have a strong sense of responsibility.
