My client is an integrated agency in South Bucks and their core development is in their proprietary marketing toolkit technology that allows corporates to create, innovate print ready artwork through an advanced extranet solution. As a full service marketing agency they also offer traditional web build projects and strive to provide innovative solutions to their clients.
Working as part of the Digital Media development team, you will be responsible for delivering a high quality of work against an agreed project specification. You will be actively involved in the initial scope of projects and must be solution driven. You must be able to focus and deliver against a project on brief and on budget.
As a senior member of the team, you should be comfortable in overseeing code and development projects and proactively providing input into development techniques and recommendations to improve and innovate to benefit our clients/end user.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee junior developers
Ensure that all the team are progressing their development skills and exposure to new projects
Encourage new ideas and initiatives through the team
Take the lead on development projects
Scoping development projects from initial specification
From the initial project specification derived from the Digital Media Director, providing a full solution with associated time scales
Continual development of the templating system and print production engine
Work to improve the functionality of the templates
Work to progress the interface and usability of the templates within the system to increase speed and user experience
Drive new initiatives/technologies to make building and managing templates easier
Development Q&A
To ensure all development/code is to the highest standard
All development should be built from a user perspective and also be as scalable as possible
Core Skills
ASP, .NET
SQL Server with T SQL (stored procedures and user defined functions,
JavaScript
C# (applications)
Beneficial :
