Due to impressive growth across 2008 and plans for significant expansion in 2009, our client, a leading digital publisher of consumer websites, is looking for an experienced digital sales person to join the sales team of one of their brands and help drive the business forward. The ideal candidate will have built a strong and impressive contact base across major west end agencies and will have 3-5 years solid media experience within a major media organisation, most recently within the digital market. Main functions of the role include: ·Managing a portfolio of top-tier agencies and be responsible for selling innovative and effective brand campaigns in line with revenue and yield targets. ·Negotiating with buyers to secure solid campaign rates in line with rate and yield guidelines ·Working closely with Ad Operations to ensure accurate delivery and effective optimisation of all campaigns ·Utilising effective agency relationships to deliver advertising revenue against personal and team targets ·Working closely with Ad Operations to ensure accurate delivery and effective optimisation of all campaigns. Candidate requirements: ·Strong breadth of experience within the digital market place having proved themselves within a major publisher or portal environment ·Strong and effective agency contact base at all levels will be essential in order to hit the ground running ·A highly driven and self-motivated approach ·A passionate and enthusiastic sales approach will be essential in engaging agencies in the benefits of the brand and user base
