This is a unique opportunity for a talented, experienced and enthusiastic team player to join the world’s leading provider of search engine marketing services to small to medium businesses (SMBs).

We are seeking an innovative and proactive thinker who can act as the ‘local platform owner’, ensuring that the SEM technology platform is properly optimizing clients search engine marketing campaigns across the publishing partners - Google, Yahoo!, MSN, etc.

The SEM ‘Platform’ Manager will possess a complete understanding of how the ReachLocal platform operates and be expected to educate, assist, and troubleshoot campaign related issues for our Internet Marketing Consultants (IMCs).

In addition this position will work with all levels of the organization (C, VP and sales) to make product improvement suggestions, ensure quick resolutions and preempt common issues. The successful candidate will work closely with our US based Sales Support team (Shreveport, LA) and Campaign Provisioning team (Los Angeles, CA).

The position requires a tech background with an emphasis on online advertising, new media or web development. The ideal prospect will be a University graduate who is internet savvy and able to understand and communicate complex concepts quickly and efficiently.

To apply you will have strong analytical and communication skills complimented with relevant experience from a SEM or SEO background or perhaps an ecommerce or web development background. Experience of ticketing systems such as Bugzilla or JIRA would be a plus.
