Are you looking to move up to become a senior technologist for a leading creative digital agency? If you are this established digital agency in Soho are looking for someone to join there team. Reporting into the Technical Director, helping them support a tech team and be come part of a multi disciplinary team to deliver solutions to a client brief, managing relationships with there partners, or working up prototypes as part of there R&D initiatives, you will be a self starter with a focus on excellence, critical thinking, and quality of delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the timely delivery of technical components for all projects.
* Rapid and accurate distillation of client requirements into actionable brief/specification.
* Absolute focus on quality; ensuring the right solution is delivered in the right way.
* Provide an expert technical viewpoint on matters concerning project deliverables.
* Direct line reporting (management) of two developers.
* Developing both client and server side code in line with project requirements.
* Education of colleagues across disciplines in matters technical.
* Ensuring your two direct reports are happy with their work schedule, have clear deliverables/objectives and have all required information and tools needed to deliver.
* Active engagement with a variety of projects from an implementation/delivery perspective from receipt of brief through to execution.
* Working with the Director of Technology to ensure all work in progress meets required quality standards.
* Working with colleagues in the wider (web address removed) network to share knowledge and support platforms (where appropriate).
* Supporting the Director of Technology in forming and executing the Technology Strategy.
* Working with Director of Operations to execute engagements with outsource partners.
Requirements
* Ability to critically assess project technology requirements and deliver solutions.
* Client facing; able to switch from tech speak to plain English and back again.
* Critical thinking; able to see the big picture and the finest detail.
* Problem solver; addressing project specific issues whilst not compromising quality.
* Client side development: CSS, XHTML, Javascript to expert level.
* Server side development: at least two technology stacks to high (critical services) level.
* Ability to manage and mentor two developers.
* Professional, and quality focussed ('Do it right', first time).
* Calm under pressure.
* Able to work individually, or leading a team, or as part of a wider team.
* Absolutely passionate about the digital space and the opportunities it brings.
* Curious about new things and a 'pull it apart, see how it works' mentality.
