Job Description

Our European client is an award-winning and leading provider of online marketing solutions for a world-wide client base of large enterprises. They are seeking to expand teams across all departments and would currently like a Solutions Consultant to join the Professional Services Team.

Having worked in a similar online marketing or agency environment the candidate will be a proven problem solver who can take responsibility for developing technology solutions for major technology customers.

As a Solutions Consultant, you will be expected to deliver extraordinary initiative, effort and leadership to identify and develop thorough technology solutions with existing clients and assist the salesstaff in capturing new business.

You must have strong online marketing experience for this opportunity. You are a strategic thinker with sales intelligence, a strong presence and the ability to create, influence, and drive customer vision and thinking.

You have effective writing skills; ability to support the development of technically focused, solutions-oriented sales proposals. 

With exceptional corporate presentation, and relationship-building skills, you are highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to work well both independently and as proactive team member. 

 Job responsibilities:

Pre-sales:

-        Develop and grow a pre-sales function to support the wider business in developing first time solutions

-        Work closely with New Business to improve and streamline processes when dealing with prospect pitches

-        Develop and conduct strategic and effective demonstrations, presentations and customer training

-        Ensure proposed solutions are profitable, achievable and realistic

-        Run workshops and deliver, present "proof of concept" projects if required jointly with PM team

-        Provide technical insight to assist in development of proposal

-        Ensure relevant information from each pre-sales engagement is fed back to product development and the wider solutions consulting group

-        Support the Account Management or Key Account Management team when pitching to existing clients for contract renewal.

Solution Development:

-        Identifying and defining customer requirements, mapping solutions, and creating a vision

-        Definition and documentation of technical solutions to assist the successful building of new projects or system set-ups

-        Develop email solutions for major technology customers

-        Work closely with Product Development to gain better insight into upcoming features and to share knowledge internally
