The company provides clients visibility of all aspects of their online business, helping them identify opportunities to grow and providing them with the tools and service to deliver highly targeted and perfectly timed communications to their customers and prospects.
Service includes:
• Online tracking and web analytics, covering reporting through to KPI’s and detailed analytics
• Data services such as segmentation and profiling, data capture and cleanse, data integration and sourcing 3rd party data

• Email and SMS marketing (we provide managed and ASP services)
• Comprehensive reporting of search engine marketing covering PPC and SEO

The position:
You will be an experienced Account Director with a proven track record in online marketing.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing company which operates in a very exciting market. Initially there will be at least one to two direct reports and this is likely to increase over time.
Under the guidance of the Client Services Director, the successful candidate will initially have profit and loss responsibility for between four to six clients, with significant scope to increase this during their first year.
Responsibilities:
The account management team is responsible for managing and delivering against our client’s expectations. Key responsibilities will be:
• Day-to-day management of several client and agency relationships, delivering the companies services with care and efficiency
• Regularly meet with clients to ensure that the company fully understand and deliver against their expectations
• Through excellent account management and consultancy, ensure the client generates maximum return from their online marketing investment; including email campaigns, email creative, data projects, web analytics & reporting, search marketing and banners
• Negotiate and secure contract renewals
• Generate interest and incremental sales by developing up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
• Analyse, document and present on a campaign or web sites’ success and identify areas for further improvement
• Manage and develop a team of between two and six people
Candidate’s ideal qualities:
To get the most from this position, the role best suits a confident and outgoing individual who is diligent, very hard working, good with numbers and can present to clients at board level. Above all, an ability to demonstrate that they would be an exceptional rather than average employee and to be able substantiate this through past successes, achievements and promotions will be critical.
• At least seven years commercial experience is preferable
• Able to demonstrate that you have added value to existing client relationships through effective strategic and tactical planning
• Confident and a good communicator, able to integrate with clients on all levels from the marketing executive up to the marketing director
• Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of how to use data to make more informed and effective business decisions
• Proven experience of managing and motivating direct reports in order to get the most from their talents
• A thorough understanding of direct marketing principles will be a distinct advantage, as will an in-depth knowledge of analytics and email marketing

There will be an opportunity to join the company’s pension scheme and health plan after successfully completing a probationary period, at which time a bonus scheme will be put in place based on quarterly and financial year results.
Two years ago the company set up an Inland Revenue approved share incentive plan and intend to continue to issue shares under this plan for the foreseeable future at the start of each new financial year.
Hours of work:
Core hours are 8:45am to 5:30pm. As an employee of a dynamic and hard working company the successful candidate will be expected to work additional hours as required in order to meet key project deadlines and each client’s objectives.
Holidays:
5 weeks per annum.
