Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to be responsible for developing and implementing both the corporate and local marketing plans. In this hands on and varied role you will be responsible for driving their online presence through website development, e-marketing and social media, developing and delivering an events and awards entry programme to maximise brand presence, managing the PR and creative agencies, and copywriting, editing and proof reading for a wide range of online and offline marketing materials.
You will be responsible for planning marketing resources in line with agreed budgets and monitoring the effectiveness of all marketing activity and making recommendations for future improvements. This challenging and professionally rewarding role will also involve assisting the Marketing Director with the development of the marketing and brand strategy.
The successful candidate for this role will have worked within a similar role previously and be CIM qualified or equivalent. Highly organised, with excellent communication skills and an excellent attention to detail, you will also be a strong copy writer and have outstanding editing and proof reading skills. Event management, digital marketing and social media experience is essential to assist you in this exciting role. Experience in working in a multi site environment would be desirable but not essential. Previous experience in line management would be advantageous as you will be over seeing the Marketing Co-ordinator and Marketing Administrator.
