Our client – a leader in marketing to young families, is looking for an Online Marketing Manager. This role is central to our client’s website strategy of driving traffic and page views on their website. The Online Marketing Manager will be responsible for all e-DM communications, retention marketing to offline channels and developing a re-activation programme.
Key Areas of Focus for the Online Marketing Manager will be:
- Setting targets for website traffic and page views
- Setting targets for e-DM opening rates, click through and unsubscribe rates
- Building and implementing strategy to drive member loyalty and repeat usage
- Working with the editorial and network planning teams to ensure outbound e-DM communications are relevant and timely for members
- Ensure that all off-line channels are driving members to the website
- Report monthly on traffic, repeat visitors, loyalty and retention
- Further development of their targeted weekly newsletter programme
For this position you will need at least 3 years’ online marketing experience, along with experience of e-mailing software and campaign management. You will also need to be familiar with and have an understand of how off line channels can be optimised to drive online traffic.
Focused and driven, you will be numerate and commercial, with a solid understanding of marketing ROI. You will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
