Search Engine Marketing Executive

Summary of Role
The management of search engine marketing activity for the Friday group websites. Key duties include:-
• Creation of PPC advertising campaigns to meet specific demands e.g. traffic acquisition, product sales, supporting sales activity
• Monitoring and reporting of PPC spend and ROI
• Development of activity schedules for PPC campaigns to meet seasonal or market peaks and troughs
• Research and testing of alternative advertising platforms e.g. new search engines, social sites etc
• Keyword research & optimisation of meta data – page titles, page copy, keywords, header tags
• Creation of supplementary pages for SEO purposes (information pages, e.g. buyer guides)
Key Skills
You’ll be marketing person who has a special combination an analytical head with creative flair. Ideally you’ll have at least a basic knowledge of search and some PPC experience. You’ll be web2.0 aware and above all you’ll have a creative approach to marketing, great ideas, and the drive to see them through. You’ll be quick to spot trends, and you’ll leap on opportunities as they arise.
Salary:
Up to £20,000 depending on experience
