As a Search Account Manager you will be a key member of the search team, working on a range of existing and new search clients. You will play a pivotal role supporting the Head of Digital but primarily controlling the delivery of a number of clients’ search campaigns.
Your role will include the following:
To assist Search Executives with generating client specific keyword lists and categorisations from briefs
Manage & have accountability for a range of search campaigns using the major UK search engines and industry leading software
Ensure reporting & analysis is of the highest standard at ALL times
Manage client campaign budgets accurately
Provide continued training and support for the Search Executives
Work closely with other Search account managers in the team to ensure consistent service levels are being delivered
Provide steady growth across all client campaigns
Ensure clients’ needs and requirements are regularly exceeded
Assist with internal finance queries
Work closely with communications planning teams across all of the offices to produce Search proposals for new and existing clients
Take part in new business and pitch work when required
Liaise closely with other members of the Digital team to produce integrated online display and search campaigns
Essential attributes of successful candidate:
Good academic background with degree or equivalent professional accounting or finance qualifications
Genuine passion for search marketing and a willingness to continue personal development in this field
Excellent motivational abilities
Utmost attention to detail
Excellent knowledge of MS PowerPoint, MS Word & MS Excel essential
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to synthesise large volumes of data into meaningful summaries and present them clearly and coherently
Capable of training and mentoring junior members of the Search team
Essential ‘personal’ qualities
Passionate and knowledgeable about the internet in general
Willingness to learn about digital media and share your enthusiasm with colleagues in other teams
Quick to learn and keen to develop from training provided
The ability to work as an individual as well as part of a team with Digital colleagues and account teams across four offices
Confidence dealing with colleagues and clients – ability to be assertive without being aggressive
Cope well working under pressure
Working closely to deadlines
