Our client is a leading mail order company and they have a brilliant opportunity for a seasoned e-commerce marketeer to develop and implement web marketing plans to further progress the company's online strategy and push online profits. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for all planning and implementation of online marketing activity within budget. You will work to continuously improve site content, promotions, presentations and features and you will work to meet targets of traffic, conversion, sales and spend using analytic and tracking.
In order to be considered for this role, you will have proven experience in managing online marketing for consumer e-commerce sites ideally with a mix of both online and offline techniques. You will have an exceptional appreciation for all online techniques including SEO, PPC, affiliates, banners, email marketing, online best practice and usability and functionality concepts.
You will join a well established marketing team including a web designer and e-commerce co-ordinator and you will need to be proactive, determined and accountable in order to achieve the strategic steps laid out for the planned improvements to the site. You will excel in a hands-on role and have the gravitas and confidence to liaise at the highest level.
