Search Engine Marketing Executive – SEO, PPC (Contract)
Kingston upon Thames, Surrey
£22,000 - £25,000 DOE

Our client is reputable for providing reliable support for legal compliance and best practice in the areas of HR, health and safety, environmental management, local and central government, trade and transport. For more than half a century they have been a business partner for thousands of organisations. An opportunity has arisen for a Search Engine Marketing Executive to join their winning team.

This is the ideal role for an enthusiastic candidate with some online search engine marketing (SEM) experience to progress their career. For this position our client is looking for a talented applicant who’ll be excited about the prospect of managing a significant SEM budget at a tactical level across a broad portfolio of B2B products and services.

As a Search Engine Marketing Executive your role will involve planning, implementing and measuring PPC and SEO campaigns. Your duties will include:

- benchmarking the performance of our client’s website
- regularly reporting on, and demonstrating results achieved
- with the PR and Marketing team, identifying linking opportunities
- writing compelling meta descriptions
- developing well targets PPC campaigns across our client’s products and consultancy portfolio
- with the Web Marketing Manager, testing and optimising landing pages

To succeed in this position you must be degree educated (or equivalent) with previous experience in search engine marketing. This must also include experience of SEO and PPC campaign management, and a background using Google Web Master and Yahoo Site Explorer tools.

Additionally, as a Search Engine Marketing Executive you must be an effective communicator with strong numeracy and Excel skills. You will also need the ability to manage your own workload, a good understanding of usability best practice, and experience of Word Tracker (or similar).
