Internet Marketing Manager / Online Marketing Manager Financial Comparison Website
Cirencester, Gloucestershire
£35,000 - £45,000 Plus Performance-Related Bonus

As one of the UKs most successful affiliate marketing companies, our client is a leading force in their industry. A rare opportunity has now arisen for an Internet Marketing Manager / Online Marketing Manager to help drive the Internet Marketing strategy for one of their companies, the UKs leading financial comparison site.

If you have a passion for Internet Marketing analysis, this could be the role for you. In this position you will be directly involved in a wide range of marketing initiatives for their website. The site promotes a wide range of products and services and has an impressive client portfolio including Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds TSB, NatWest, RBS, Direct Line, Tesco Finance, More Than, Norwich Union, Churchill, Egg and Capital One - to name but a few.

As the Internet Marketing Manager / Online Marketing Manager you will be responsible for establishing the company's ongoing marketing strategy, and driving the implementation of that strategy as well as ongoing analysis of the campaigns. You will be working closely with the Sales Manager and Managing Director to ensure that marketing of the site meets the demands and expectations of the company's advertisers.

This is an opportunity to take an instrumental 'hands on' analysis role, and your position will encompass the following marketing initiatives:

- Email Marketing Campaigns
- Pay per Click Campaigns and Search Engine Optimisation
- Customer Retention
- Partnerships
- ROI Analysis and Competitor Analysis
- More unusual marketing ideas and offline PR

Optimising all marketing campaigns in order to maximise ROI will be a key focus for your role, which will be facilitated by sophisticated reporting tools and analysis of user behaviour.

To succeed as the Internet Marketing Manager / Online Marketing Manager you must have previous experience within online marketing, including an awareness of analysis techniques and issues. This neednt have been gained within a senior or management role; however you must be familiar with online marketing methodologies. An understanding of CCA/FSA regulations and previous experience of internet marketing analysis, is desirable, but not essential.
