Our client is a specialist in eCommerce they own a number of online brands and have plans to develop more in the near future, they are looking for a Marketing Director to build on their current success. Reporting to the Managing Director this role will be responsible for establishing and building brands and relationships across several different limited companies in the group.
Crucial to this is the ability to utilise online tactical marketing opportunities, third party relationships and imaginative solutions to create meaningful relationships between the businesses and customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop an annual sales & marketing plan which supports the revenue and margin growth objectives set with the management team
Drive key marketing relationships with key channels – e.g. Google, PayPal, affiliates etc
Articulate key brand characteristics and liaise with category merchandising strategies and develop key promotional activities.
Ensure smooth and coordinated new product launches in order to maximise impact.
Plan and implement relationships via social networking sites and leverage key internal assets (e.g. technical flexibility) to achieve knockout results.
Work closely with the groups senior management to leverage their efforts both strategically and tactically.
You will be measured against revenue, conversion rates, marketing initiatives and ROI.
Experience
You will probably have at least 5 years experience in eCommerce marketing in a B2C environment.
Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability in presenting recommendations and plans to senior management.
Proven project and team coordination, as a result of excellent management & teamwork skills.
