Our client is a leading player and global brand in the Consumer Durables world. Due to continued growth they are seeking an experienced Online Marketing Manager to manage their online presence throughout Europe within a key category, covering several product areas. NB: You will work alongside the technical web team but please note this is a marketing not a Technical web role.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing Microsites in conjunction with the technical team for various business units
- Manage web agencies
- Assist the Senior Manager in developing the online marketing strategy
- Create and maintain a rolling roadmap of online product marketing activity backed by appropriate online advertising, exposure & links on third party sites, search engine optimisation and e-mail marketing.
- Manage the internal processes to ensure flow of product information from the individual product groups to the e-platforms
- Manage copywriting and translation of sites across Europe.
- Manage traffic generation campaigns
- Maintain the ongoing CRM system for the category
- Maintain reporting for management of web and e-commerce KPIs and effectiveness/ROI of activities undertaken
- You will form a key part of the management team in driving marketing projects
Education & Experience
- Degree level education
- 1st degree or post-graduate qualification in marketing beneficial but not essential
- Significant experience in online marketing
- An established professional marketer who has a demonstrable track record in shaping or contributing to the online presence of a marketing company (Retailer, manufacturer or direct sales organisation operating in the consumer
- Typical experience might include Marketing Agency (Online specialised), e-tailer, IT Reseller , online marketing department of a large ?Bricks and clicks? retailer, or e-marketing Department of a High Tech Manufacturing /Branded Goods Company Familiarity with other aspects of marketing communications and preferably experience of working on integrated (online/offline) marketing projects.
- Outstanding organisational and project management skills , including experience working in ?virtual teams ? in a complex, multi-stakeholder organisation
- Strategic thinker with the clear potential to go beyond operational detail, display visionary thinking and ?Big picture? commercial understanding.

- Ability to develop and communicate effective processes

- Strong communication skills (including ability to do some web copywriting when required)
