Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer based in Corby, Northamptonshire. This will be a challenging and dynamic role which will require an individual with sound practical knowledge of marketing and/or commercial graphic design. Suitable applicants should be a proven self starter and possess high levels of creative ability and should be able to work on their own initiative or as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing marketing and promotional activity to support sales growth of our clients products primarily for markets in GB and Ireland.
Qualifications: Essential Criteria:
* Educated to degree in level in Marketing/graphic design or in a related subject
* 4 years experience within a similar role
* Familiarity with a variety of field's concept, practices and procedures
* Calm demeanour under pressure
* Working knowledge of graphic applications, such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop are preferred.
* Awareness of and interest in new digital platforms & technologies
* Proven verbal and written communication skills; outstanding organisational skills
* Proven planning and execution capabilities
* Must be able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
* Thorough understanding of graphics, print and package production specifications/processes and packaging functions
Desirable Criteria:
* Consumer/retail marketing experience
* Experience in website design &/or content management
