Our client, one of the UK's largest independent business publishing and information companies, is looking to recruit an Account Manager to work on one of their largest business to business exhibitions. Your main responsibility as Account Manager will be to maximise revenue through exhibition space and sponsorship sales within your allotted existing and new client bases. The majority of the work will be telephone-based although there will be significant opportunities for face to face in sales/sponsorship presentations and networking events in the UK and overseas. Key responsibilities include: ·Effective account management ·Sales administration-ensuring contracts are issued accurately and distributed to relevant departments ·Constructing and selling sponsorship packages that meet exhibitor needs Person Specification ·A proactive self starter with good interpersonal and communication skills both on the telephone and face to face. ·At least one year of telesales experience with a proven record of success ·Good presentation and networking skills ·Ability to work well in a team environment ·Proven account management experience to build on industry relationships
