Our client is the UK's first complete full service marketing and technology agency, combining their expertise and skills to help clients communicate effectively with their audiences through digital channels. They currently seek to recruit a Senior Web Designer to work onsite at one of the UK's leading retailers.

The Senior Web Designer will need a background in creative web design, with experience designing for fashion brands. You must demonstrate and passionately represent excellence of design craft.

Within the role of Senior Web Designer, you will be responsible for the quality execution of visual assets designed to express creative concepts for digital projects, such as website design and build, and online advertising. You will create and direct innovative graphic and visual designs for clients' business needs.

The Senior Web Designer will also be expected to contribute to the strategic and conceptual process, project planning, leading creative presentations, and mentoring junior team members. For established clients, the Senior Web Designer may also act as Creative Lead.

To succeed as the Senior Web Designer, you will need to be able to display:

- Extensive commercial web design experience, including experience of interactive design
- Visual Arts related degree or equivalent, and preferably a Masters or advanced degree
- In-depth understanding of designing site architectures, user interfaces, and intuitive navigation
- Experience with site documentation
- A portfolio in digital or printed form
- Proven creative design success
