As a reputable award-winning web design and development company, our client works with a wide range of organisations from high profile blue chip companies, to dozens of SMEs. They currently have an opportunity for an experienced Web Designer to join their team in Blackburn, Lancashire.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with an established and growing Internet company.
As a Web Designer you will be responsible for working on high profile sites through the full project life cycle, for business customers and local government agencies. This role will require your ability to work in a methodical way and your creative approach.
To succeed as a Web Designer you must have previous experience within a similar position and good creative skills using the following:
- Dreamweaver
- Photoshop / Fireworks
- Flash
- HTML
- CSS
Equally as important to your success in this position will be your eye for detail, your excellent communication skills, and your ability to work in a team.
Although not essential, knowledge of accessibility and/or W3C / UK Government guidelines would be advantageous to your application.
