Our client is a Top 10, full-service creative agency with a specialist focus on technology marketing for B2B audiences.
They have a full-time staff of over 50 employees with a wide-range of experience and expertise, including account management; strategic planning; copywriting; art direction and design; web programming and development, plus multilingual capabilities.
Their offices are just 5 minutes from the M25 and M40 motorways - and less than 30 minutes by train from London Marylebone.
They combine leading creative with responsive service to deliver integrated campaigns at European and global levels. Some of their key clients include: Symantec, Toshiba, Hitachi, Avaya, Intel, Cisco, Psion, Kcom and Fujitsu
They are looking for a junior web designer with the following:
Roles and responsibilities
Deliver original and appropriate graphic design deliverables and interactive media types in response to a client brief and client needs.
Be involved in all aspects of projects, from initial concepts, to the successful completion of a finished product be that online or offline.
Ability to multi-task across various client projects and media types.
Manage all online content for client and internal projects, including assisting other studio members on interactive software skills and online file management.
Produce digital storyboards, visuals and layouts to help communicate ideas
to the client.
Consistently deliver accurate, appropriate and quality deliverables across
all projects.
Ability to confidently present and explain creative ideas to both an internal
and occasionally client audience.
Ensure deadlines are met for all projects worked on.
Skills and experience
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
Graduate or one or more years experience working within a creative agency
The ability to understand and interpret a client brief and deliver appropriate solutions (both graphic, interactive, online).
Highly motivated with a strong sense of belief in creative ideas, plus the skills and confidence to deliver when required.
The ability to produce and communicate a consistent stream of fresh ideas
Resilience to rejection and criticism of creative work.
Acute observation and an expert eye for detail.
High levels of information technology skills in relevant design packages and hardware, including; Adobe CS3-CS5 Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, MS Office, Macs and OSX.
Thorough understanding of online technologies and appreciate the differences between online and offline design.
Have a hands-on and 'can-do' attitude and be willing to get stuck in!
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
