Our Client based in an idyllic rural setting just to the South of Newcastle is currently seeking a talented PHP developer who has the ability to design for the web as well. Their offices are unconventional with a relaxed, informal atmosphere and flexible working hours. As their creative web developer you will play a key role in driving business growth by designing, writing and building interactive websites in order to increase their existing online customer base.
Supporting the IT Manager as a web developer/designer you will get involved in a variety of web development tasks including:
Producing concept web designs in Photoshop
Developing standards compliant XHTML/CSS websites
Building or integrating PHP Web Applications
Maintaining and improving existing websites and applications
To succeed as a web developer/designer with them you will need a solid background either within an agency and/or many years freelancing using the following:
Fireworks, Photoshop, Flash
XHTML/CSS
XML
PHP5 (OOP experience a bonus)
Javascript/AJAX
Actionscript (a bonus)
