My client a well known Leeds based Digital Agency in Leeds are looking for and Interactive Developer to work on the fun parts of the Internet; games and communities. They embrace the latest technologies, RoR, AJAX, Flex, and use the latest methodologies, Agile with TDD. They build social games (casual MMORPG), on top of there multi-user server and Game Mark-up Language, for brands recognised world wide. They are looking to grow there team from the Leeds city centre office. As an Interactive Developer you will be creating the back end applications for games and multi-user communities as wells as social networks, portals, and websites. You will take responsibility for project deadlines and without compromising on quality, usability, and functionality. You will be expected to research and implement new tools, software, standards, and processes and introduce them to the team. You will play a key role in the development of the company. Training, mentoring and helping improve the general atmosphere within the office is also part of this job description. You will require 2+ years of OOP in a commercial environment, 2+ years of implementation of design patterns.
